I'm Catarina Madeira, a mom, an enthusiastic crafter, and a designer from Portugal who absolutely loves creating SVGs, cut files, and bringing designs to life! Whether it's crafting intricate cut files or transforming an idea into a beautiful, functional piece, I get a real kick out of turning creativity into something tangible and exciting.
I've always been fascinated by how things come together. As a kid, I loved figuring out how things worked (or why they didn’t!). Over time, that curiosity grew into a passion for crafting and design. There's nothing more satisfying than taking a simple idea and turning it into something that inspires and excites others.
For me, creativity is all about pushing boundaries and experimenting with new ideas. I love the process of designing, testing, and refining every detail until it all comes together just right. Whether it’s a fun SVG file or a beautifully layered cut design, I pour my heart into every project.
If I had to choose a spirit animal, it would be an octopus! The octopus symbolizes adaptability, intelligence, and resourcefulness—qualities that I value in both my personal and creative life. Just like the octopus, I embrace challenges and can adjust to any situation, always finding new ways to solve problems and express myself. Plus, its ability to multitask with its many arms resonates with how I juggle multiple creative projects at once! I always have multiple projects and ideas on the go. The octopus is smart, adaptable, and always finding clever ways to solve problems. That’s exactly how I approach design—I’m always thinking ahead, staying flexible, and looking for the smartest solution.
I get inspired by everyday moments—the colors of nature, the patterns in fabrics, and the little things that spark joy. There’s always something new to learn, and that’s what keeps me going! Seeing my designs come to life, whether in paper, vinyl, or another medium, is the most rewarding part of the process.
My design style can be summed up in three words: Creative – I love pushing the boundaries and coming up with new ideas. Practical – A great design isn’t just about looks; it has to be easy to use too! Detail-Oriented – The little things make all the difference, and I love perfecting them.
